I'm telling you...I was jacking this tune in my car yesterday with the windows down and the sun shining and it was summer.

I was coming here now to submit this tune. I've got a lot of good memories from these three and I'm hoping for a lot more.

Let's rock this joint in the old school way...

Yep...it brings me back to the glory days of the early 90s. It's nice to have the Beasties back.

Is it just me or does all the Beastie Boys stuff sound and look the same? I'm disappointed that after all this time I didn't hear or see anything new from them.

The video for "Ch-Check It Out" plays on that 70s motif these guys seem to like. Maybe you think it's a little too similar in concept to their awesome "Sabotage" video.

As for their sounds, it all sounds similar because it's all their fairly unique style. Not many bands sound like these guys do. I suppose you either like them or you don't. I like them. Check Your Head is one of my favourite discs of all time and Paul's Boutique is pretty damn special too.

All I know is when I'm cruising in my car and "Ch-Check It Out" comes on CFNY, I turn the volume up to 11.

I know the Beastie Boys like that 70's motif. I do think the video for "Ch-Check It Out" is too much like the "Sabotage" video. I guess I used to like these guys a lot more. "Ch-Check It Out" just doesn't seem "fresh" to me.

Although I'm not into this genre of music (What genre would they be, anyway? *laughs*) but I've always loved the Beastie Boys.. They sound completely different from every other band and their tunes are always catchy! I like this song. Very Happy

kast's#1fan, the reason why new rappers don't rap like the beastie boys is because they have an old-school style of rapping which i think is better.

plus they have a dj, which gives the music some substance. today, rappers just have a pre-made looped beat over and over and it sounds like shit. the dj, in a way, takes the place of a guitar because sometimes they will do solos and freestyle stuff.

Aside from their love for music, the Beastie Boys are also into animal rights.

Recently, they wrote a letter to KFC because KFC has been lying about their animal abuse, and the Beastie Boys let them have a piece of their mind. Go here to see their letter they wrote, and read what they had to say about KFC!
